Steven A. Mirman is a Norfolk native and graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. He attended Samford University, Cumberland School of Law and the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he earned both his Law Degree and Masters Degree in Public Health in 1990. Mr. Mirman was appointed Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney for the City of Norfolk, Virginia, in 1991 and served as a State prosecutor for several years before entering private practice. Mr. Mirman previously represented several large insurance companies, defending personal injury claims and has represented hundreds of clients charged with criminal offenses, including serious felonies, misdemeanors and traffic matters in State and Federal Courts throughout Virginia.
